If the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, then surely the spirit of a town is in its cuisine. The Sorrento Cooking Class allows you to discover a new side to Sorrento by exploring the city’s food and wine!
Tucked halfway between Sorrento and Positano, lies the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. Here, with the aid of the local cooking club, you will learn how to prepare typical Neapolitan and Italian dishes, how the area’s wines are produced and how to select the correct wine for your dish.
In our experience, this approach has proved to be popular, as most guests love learning how to bring out the best flavours of traditional Italian cuisine. We use only the best quality ingredients, taking care to only select produce which is fresh, natural and organic. Our chef also isn’t shy with spilling age-old family secrets on how to perfect dishes, which were passed on from generation to generation. During these half-day cooking classes (during the morning or afternoon), you will learn how to make a traditional regional meal consisting of up to 4 dishes: an appetiser, a pasta dish, a vegetable or meat dish, and a dessert.
Last but not least, each meal is paired with a delicious complementary wine! Buon appetito!
