Enjoy the fantastic experience of learning our Chef’s secrets about ITALIAN COOKING in an intimate and friendly atmosphere with this small-group cooking class!
First step is a visit to Florence Farmers’ Market to discover all its beautiful colors and authenticity, getting to know the butchers, bakers and farmers which Florentines buy their ingredients from. Here you’ll be treated to different tastings of typical products and buy some of the fresh ingredients for the cooking class. In the comfort of our minivan, you will then reach our fascinating cooking location, a noble villa in the Chianti countryside, outside of the busy and bustling city center, where you will have the opportunity to express your culinary art under the attentive guidance of the Chef.
The menu may vary slightly according to the season and the fresh ingredients available, but among various other things it will usually include making home-made pasta from scratch. The class will end with a delicious lunch that will prove your improved skills in the kitchen, accompanied by tastings of different wines and a final typical Tuscan dessert wine.
A special Wine Lab experience, fun and educational, will let you understand how different varieties of pure wines (from Sangiovese, Canaiolo grapes etc) are blended to obtain the final complex wines, each one with a peculiar bouquet of scents and flavours. Whether you are a beginner or an expert with the apron, this small-group cooking class will ensure a personalized experience from the Chef with friendly company and will let you learn recipes and secrets that you can take home with you to surprise your friends with a true Italian meal! And all of this in the enchanting Chianti countryside, home of the world-famous Chianti wine. And, last but not least, you get a Graduation Certificate! A day to remember.
